Artist Links

A short link that opens a fast page with your cover and buttons to every streaming service. Clicks are counted, and optionally your own Meta or TikTok pixel fires.

What an artist link is

  • One page per release: Cover, title, artist and one button per service. On phones the buttons open the app directly.
  • Short URL: Six random characters, or your own slug. The slug stays fixed after creation so shared links never break.
  • Your own pixel: One Meta and one TikTok pixel per link, from your connected accounts or entered as an ID. From Plus.
  • Statistics: Views, clicks per service and per day, and where clicks came from (campaign or direct).

Create a link

  1. In the dashboard under Links, click "New link".
  2. Paste a Spotify link and click "Fetch preview". Title and cover are filled in, you enter the artist.
  3. Paste links to Apple Music, Amazon Music, YouTube, Deezer and other services into the fields. Empty fields are left out.
  4. Optionally choose or create pixels, then save. Copy the link and use it in bios, captions or campaigns.

Pixels and consent

Before loading pixels the page shows a notice with Accept and Decline. Pixels load only after Accept. The choice applies per visitor to all your links. You can switch the notice off per link, then the responsibility for consent is yours. With consent we also report views and stream clicks server-side to TikTok and Meta so campaigns can optimise for real stream clicks.

Meta receives PageView and ViewContent on load and Lead plus StreamClick on click. TikTok receives ViewContent and ClickButton. You can optimize campaigns on these events.

Statistics

  • Views are counted once the page was visible in the browser, clicks when a button is tapped. Bots, link previews and prefetchers do not count and are listed separately. Ad blockers may suppress some views and clicks.
  • No IP addresses, browser identifiers or cookies are stored. Known crawlers are not counted.
  • Days are formed in German time. Ranges: 7, 30 or 90 days.

Use as a campaign destination

Use the artist link as the destination URL of a campaign. Highclicks appends source parameters automatically, and the statistics show clicks per campaign. In chat, ask "How is my link doing?" to get the numbers.

Share in a report

You can attach an Artist Link to a performance report. Anyone with the report link then sees views, clicks and the split by service without logging in and without access to your dashboard.
