Tool Reference

All tools Claude can use after connecting. You never need to call them directly; Claude chooses on its own. This reference is for when you want to know exactly what is happening.

Quota: Only tools that create ads use your monthly quota, one unit per ad created. Everything else (reading, managing, reports, connection) is free. (launch_campaign, add_ads)

TikTok only, additionally: languages, placements (tiktok | pangle), device_os (android | ios), network_types (wifi, 2g bis 5g). Only fields you specify are changed; everything else stays as is.

set_campaign_live

Creating ads ((counts toward quota))

launch_campaign

Creates complete campaigns from a brief, always paused. The brief includes: destination URL, total budget, period (start/end), goal (default: traffic), targeting, and the videos, as Instagram Reel URLs, TikTok Spark Codes, or YouTube URLs, optionally with custom ad copy and CTA per video. The budget is split evenly across days and videos. You describe all of this in plain language; Claude builds the brief from it.

add_ads

Adds one or more video ads (Reel URLs/Spark Codes) to an existing ad set. Destination link and CTA are copied from an existing ad if not provided; page_id (Meta only) selects the Facebook page.

Reports

create_report

Creates a shareable white-label report for selected campaigns and returns the share link. Free, does not count as a created ad. Details at Performance Reports.

list_reports

Lists your reports along with their share links.

New tools appear in Claude only after disconnecting and reconnecting the Connector, see FAQ.
